CORRECTING THE RECORD

• Inaccurate or misleading information is circulating about the lower Snake River dams.

• This is of concern to the entire federal family.

• We are working with our partners to “correct the record” on the facts.

• The Corps of Engineers does not have the authority to breach the lower Snake River dams.

• Circulating information suggesting the 2002 EIS does provide that authority is wrong.

• The Columbia River System Operations Environmental Impact Statement (CRSO EIS) is the vehicle we

are using to inform future actions.

• Draft EIS expected to be released in 2020 for public review/comments

OREGON MOA FOR OREGON EMERGING PORTS

Memorandum of Agreement (USACE and State of Oregon)

• Allowed up to $5 million a year for five years (2013-2018)

• Expended $3,248,806 during this time

Memorandum of Agreement Extension

• Purpose: Allows state funds to fill gaps in
