Making The Right DecisionBy Iomara Guzman

What is the right decision?

0 There isn’t such thing as making the right decision. The decision a person makes can often be the result of his or her consequences. Intelligence can be described in different way as stated in the text, “People are surprisingly similar to each other. We all eat, drink, think deep thoughts, plan excursions, and seek goals”. (Marteney, 54). Some achievements/goals are often shared however, in the other hand some shared moments might also be unnecessary and can be a wrong decision.

Why is everything shared in the Media?

0 Media is one of the most influential way of communication now and days. However, as accomplishment, moments, trips, engagements, and so others moments are shared. In the other hand people post break ups, “weight loss”, sexual pictures and people drunk, and the intention might be to embarrass others however, many of the outcomes of those pictures can cause the resign of your job.

Involuntary Decision Making- Can be the reason in why you do what you do without thinking? For example, post a picture of yourself in an awkward situation.

Voluntary Decision- can be define in the state of thinking before making a decision. Thing of the consequence or the alternative of making such decision.

Peer influence?Can Facebook posts be

because of peer influence?

Many times we are often influenced and can fall under the peer pressure

of looking, acting, or talking like certain individuals. However this example below is an example of a women who went in debt for over

$30k to look like Kim Kardashian. It can become a necessity to be liked or accepted by others when peer

influence is reached to a maximum extend.

0 Many of the post we often write can be made involuntarily however, as stated in the text, “Peer influence occurs when an individual voluntarily seeks the support or approval or goodwill of others as the basis for making a decision. “ (Marteney, 40)

Becoming Successful Via Media

Is Facebook and YouTube accounts worth having? A brief story of……..

0 Since media is the first resource as far as kitchen recipes, hair dos/make up tutorials, home improvements and etc. Many people have better their lives by the use and share of this accounts.

0 This girl named Jermaine Santiago born in Manila Philippines. She is well known in YouTube as “Jlovesmac1” blog. This girl has over 1,884,053 subscribers and has become one successful woman via blogs, tutorials, and live videos. She became independent and moved away from her parents house at the age of 20. Pursuing her career and with the help of YouTube financially. Opportunities like this can often be given if you use media in a smart way.

Is break ups due to social media?

It is bias on how you use the social media. A like the discussion given about virtual cheating. It is well known many couples/marriages have been caught up in an affair due to the excessive use of social media influence. Statistics shown in the text indicate, “that one out of every two first marriages fail in the United States” (Marteney, 45). In other words there is 50% chance that the marriage will succeed.

Can’t Hide No More0 Facebook has been one

of the main resources for people to whether get caught or be caught cheating.

0 It has also been a website to take revenge and burn those who have cheated and continue lying.

0 “Hidden messages gain influence from the fact that they circumvent the critical functions of the conscious mind” (Marteney, 39)

Decision Making0 Like said in this quote

decisions have to be made from the discipline within itself. It all depends what you post and how you post it that may reflect the interpretation of your personality. After you post a status or photo, people have access to saving or screen sharing so you must simply be careful on what you do when using the web.

0 “Good Decisions come from disciplined thinking. Good decisions are based on the values and perceptions of the decision-maker and include carefully considered alternatives and options along with periodic reassessments of the decision and its effect” (Marteney, 47).
