This letter needs to be completed and returned to Candace by the end of the day on Thursday. Later in the year, you will have the opportunity to share information that you would like to be considered for next year’s teaching assignment. Chill Out Centers-We will begin using the Chill Out Centers this week for students who need approximately 10 minutes to reflect and regroup in order to return to the classroom. We will discuss this again during Leadership Team meeting to make sure there is understanding among teachers on the purpose and guidelines for using the Chill Out Center. PTO Fundraiser, Human Race, Magazine Requests-Please work as a team to support the current fundraising efforts in our school. One of CIP goals involves increased parental and community involvement. With your promotion, we can continue growing a school community in this area. Readicide and Threads of Reading-Each book team should be prepared to present at the March 13 th Admin PD. Each presentation should be approximately 20-30 minutes with time allowed for questions and discussions. The purpose of the presentation is to share key information from the book that you read that will help your colleagues grow in the area of literacy instruction. Remember-If they can’t read, they can’t access all of your curriculum! All team members should participate in the presentation and discussion of the books. NAMS Picture of the Week
