History1977 Establishment of the Mechanical Plant of the Chemical Complex of Synthetic Fibres and

Yarns Savinesti.

1991 Registration as joint stock company according to the government law and changing its name to COMES Savinesti (Mechanical Company of Special Equipment).

2003 Becoming part of Conex Industrial Group.

2004-2005Performing major steps in quality management and receiving Quality Management System Certifications (EN ISO 9001:2000; AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 0, TDR 201, AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 100R und DIN EN 729-2, 97/23 EC; EN 14001:2005; OHSAS 18001:2004).

2009 Receiving U stamp certification issued by Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection – USA.

2015Completion of an investment program (CAPEX > 2 mil. €), co-financed by the EU,consisting in the modernization of the workshops and the purchasing of advanced technological equipments & software programs.

2017-2020Initiation of new investment projects that pursue further developments of our production capabilities - building of a new manufacturing line, designed for the production of equipment up to 100 tons and for the usage of special materials (Titanium).

The often replaced parts of a heat exchanger are the tube bundles. Depending on the constructive type of the heat exchanger, tube bundles can be:

Air Coolers with Fin TubesThey are heat exchangers used in chemical and petrochemical industries, in heat transfer processes with technological function of condenser or vaporizer. The coolers are made of tube bundles, arranged in bays, with two or more fans, mounted on a steel structure.

The fin tubes which ensure the heat transfer can be manufactured by extruded or embedded fins, from:

• Carbon steel and aluminium fins;• Copper and carbon steel fins;• Stainless steel with aluminium fins, etc.

COMES manufactures gas separators for separating the methane from the water, and also two-phasic/ three-phasic separators for separating the oil from the water and the gas.

This are horizontal or vertical tanks especially designed to be used in the gas & oil industry.

Gas separators are mechanical devices designed to remove and collect the solid and liquid impurities existing in the gas flow and to protect pipes, equipment and devices that may be damaged because of contaminated gas.

In the case of gas separators (two-phasic), separating is made by means of demister.

In the case of gas-oil-water separators (three-phasic), separating is made by means of chicanes, demister or coalescer.

Skid units & CoilsCOMES offers custom-built skid units for a variety of applications. The process equipment include structure, vessels, pumps, filters, heat ex-changers, interconnecting valves and fittings, as required. All equipment can be fully skid mounted with instrument/ electrical connectors and control panel.

Advantages of the skid-mounted units include:• Compact design- it requires small space;• Completely integrated process, including local

or remote control-system- it prevents com-patibility problem common with the assembly of separate component systems;

• Pre-assembled - it minimizes the installation costs;

• Easily transported and installed- use it where it is most needed.

Coils for process heaters are used throughout hydrocarbon and chemical processing industries such as refineries, gas plants, petrochemicals, chemicals and synthetics, olefins, ammonia and fertilizer plants. Coil heaters are divided into two parts: heating zone and evaporation zone. Each zone includes several sections with a fixed value of diameters and the number of pipes.
