DAY 1
It was an early start to an
exhilarating day in fact 2.00 in the
morning. We were all so excited we
didn’t want to sleep in the car. Me
and Megan were playing Mario
Cart but Grace wanted to go to
sleep …… did not succeed ………
When we got into the airport we
met Daire there because he was
staying in Dublin. As we got on the
plane we were all so excited and said
“we are on our way!’’
DAY 2
We arrived in school and our class
only has 15 pupils. Last night was
our first sleep with our family and
it wasn’t too bad even though we
got to bed a bit late.
DAY 3
We went walking around the
town looking at historic sites
with Lorenzo and his friends
and then went to the Comenius
party.
DAY 4
We woke up and got dressed for
school. After school we went to a
dance and music concert it was
really good!!!!
DAY 5
We have a day of writing because
we are now writing our blog about
our stay in Italia we have learnt
many new words like ciao, sparrow
means gun and there are many more.

Daire’s Trip to Italy
John and I stayed at the Durso’s
family.
The Dad is Francesco, the Mum is
Adriana and the son is Lorenzo.
Lorenzo and Francesco are massive fans of Inter
Milan but Adriana supports Juventus. Francesco
and Lorenzo were disappointed about last night’s
result as 0-0 against Roma.
We live in an apartment and John and I sleep upstairs. We go
to bed at around 9:30 and are
supposed to get up at around
7:00 am but we have great
difficulty at getting John up so
it’s really about 7:15!
Lorenzo loves to play football on his play station 2. John and I
never seem to beat him! Lorenzo has 2 turtles and a few fish.
Francesco is the goalkeeper of team
Stigliano.
My highlight of the trip was
probably the tour around Naples. I
especially enjoyed dipping my feet in
the Mediterranean.
It was very funny when Grace dropped
her glasses in and John helped her buy
another pair by bargained an €8 pair
down to €2!
Photographic Journey
The children planned most of the photos and added their own comments.
Chilling on the bendy bar outside of school.
John in his own little world!!
The coolest car ever!
Roman Catacombs with three specks in front.
An old washed out milk van!

Blog by Dominika and Kasia
We really enjoyed our visit to Italy, where we learnt a lot
about the country and our Italian friends.
Throughout the visit we stayed with a family called Molfese -
the parents' names were Salvatore Rosaria and their two
children are called Francy and Merry. They were all really nice
and welcoming. Their hospitability made our stay a very
pleasant experience and we really enjoyed the time spent with
them and all the conversations we had.
We found out that the schools over there are slightly different
from what we are used to in Poland. To begin with, lessons
start at 8:50AM and finish at 1:30PM. Additionally, there is
no locker room, so pupils do not change their shoes and only
take off their jackets and hang them in halls or corridors. All
lessons take place in the same classroom. We also learned that
the grading system is different from ours. Pupils are awarded
grades ranging from 1 (which is the lowest) up to 10 (the
highest grade).
The pupils we went to school with were very friendly and
polite and we had a lot of fun together. During the first day
we got to know each other better and learnt our hosts’ names.
We talked a lot about our hobbies, but also about what Poland
is like. They were especially curious about Polish schools and
how they are different from the Italian ones. Although it
wasn't always easy to communicate we managed to talk to
everyone a little bit and were really happy to learn new things
about the country we were visiting. We also had a chance to
see for ourselves how their lessons look like.
The classes were fun, but we were surprised how loud it can be
during lessons in Italian school. It made us understand how
important discipline is and appreciate our own teachers' efforts
to maintain it. At the end of the first day we wrote down
everyone's names so that we can become friends on Facebook.
Also, we received cards with best wishes written in Italian. We
saved them and later put into our diaries as a souvenir from
the trip.
During the week we had a chance to see many interesting
places. On Monday after school went to a gym as well as a
pizza restaurant. We agreed that the pizza served there was
very delicious and that Italian cuisine is the best in the world!
On Tuesday we went shopping. We saw a lot of pretty,
fashionable clothes and even bought two beautiful dresses for
ourselves. On Wednesday we visited Stigliano and its
surroundings. It is a small but very picturesque town with
beautiful churches and old castle ruins. In the evening we were
at a concert where students and adults presented their artistic
abilities - they played instruments, sang and danced. We
especially enjoyed one of the performing girl's dance routine.
On Thursday we went to the town of Matera, which had
spectacular sights. Also, the dinner we had there was fantastic.
Early Friday morning we flew from Naples to Rome and later
to Warsaw. Before leaving we said our goodbyes to Molfese
family. We exchanged small gifts that we prepared for this
occasion and we thanked them for hospitability in Italian
language. They were surprised and happy about it and Mrs
Rosaria even recorded it on camera.
I am really glad we had the chance to visit Italy, were we met
many kind people and visited interesting places. We also
learned a lot about Italian schools, culture and cuisine. It will
definitely remain long in our memories as a happy and exciting
experience.

Italy is a beautiful country. We really
loved Italy…
… because we got many new friends
and Italian people are very nice and
hospitable.
We visited 3 classes at the school.
We watched films, learned Italian, and we went for a trip.
We designed the new Comenius
logo,
we were teaching the kids
Hungarian,
and ate a lot of pizza, of
course!

DAY 1
I couldn’t wait this day!!! I got up at 2.30 a.m., my parents
took me to the local bus stop where we met the others and get
on the airport transfer bus. We
were so excited! We had many
questions. What will it be? After
1.5 hour we arrived to Ferenc
Liszt International Airport. We
were quite sleepy but finally we
‘woke up’.
First, we checked-in, got rid of our luggage and then we
passed through the security control. Well, the gate started to
beep as I was wearing a metal belt, plus there was something
metal on my jeans, too.
Moreover, they took away my
shower cream! :o At last we got
on the plane, watched the
flight attendant’s safety
performance and then we
started off… First, it went
really slowly, then it became faster and faster and finally we
took off! All of us sank into the seat and our ears clogged.
Above the clouds it was awesome. During the one and a half
hour flight I was taking photos. The view was incredible! The
end of the flight was similar to the take-off.
Well, I didn’t see much of Rome, though we can say that we
have been to Rome! :) There we took a transfer flight but this
time we flew only 40 minutes. We saw many little islands
during the flight. Once the captain started to speak in English
and I could understand it more or less! :D After we landed, the
‘luggage hunt’ began. They appeared after a long time, but
sadly every luggage arrived.
In the lounge we met Ms Rasulo who was really kind. Then, we
had to wait for the Irish. When I saw them, I was amazed:
they we so young but their English… I just hadn’t known that
they speak English.
First, we went to see Naples. It’s
a bit dirty but otherwise it’s a
lovely city. We tasted the
original Italian pizza and we
really liked it! :) I wasn’t like
what others had told. I ate up
all my pizza! Next, we dipped our legs in the salty sea.
We spent there about an hour and it was great! Then we did
some shopping and returned to the airport to collect the
Polish. Finally, we took a bus and travelled 200 km (for about
2 hours). To be honest, I felt sick at the end, but now I’m fine…
It’s 11.30 pm and I’m in a
gorgeous family house, doing
my homework (i.e. the travel
blog) and Janka’s already in
bed. I’m so excited about
tomorrow but I’m sure it’ll be
cool! At least I do hope so, as
tomorrow is my birthday… :D
DAY 2
We woke up to a rainy day in Gorgoglione. We had breakfast
with the family and then we left for school.
The school was full of painted
pictures. It was really nice and cosy.
Janka went to a class of younger
students, while I visited a class of
older students. The morning
wasn’t good as they kept asking
me questions which I couldn’t
really answer… :( Everybody was
shouting. I think those who told
me that Italian people are loud
and noisy were right. I found
them pretty strange. I really
liked one of the boys. :) Many times I
was about to start crying as I didn’t know anything, I felt
totally alone and at that time I wanted to go home to my
family and celebrate my birthday.
Now I know, I would have regretted… When Enza asked me:
‘When is your birthday?’ and I told her, they became even
louder and everybody said happy birthday to me. <З Then,
they sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song. I was so touched and
moved that I couldn’t say a word. A couple of minutes later
Zsani, Janka and Máté arrived. I forgot about my sorrows and
finally I was happy again. :)
We went ‘home’ soon. We had lunch. It was very nice. First, we
had pasta with some kind of meat. That was so tasty and I ate
my fill. Then, we had roast meat with salad. That was also
very delicious! Finally, we ate some mozzarella. I liked it. We
agreed with Janka that after the meal we would give our
presents to the family. They looked very happy when they got
their gifts. In the afternoon, we had some free time with
Janka. We were listening to music. Daddy called me to greet
me on my birthday. :) Then we went to a volleyball training.
That’s wasn’t fun, but at least we could see Fabio! <З
Then we went home, had a shower
and went to a pizzeria. But before
they showed us around the town
and taught a couple of Italian
words: e.g. macchina = autó,
furgone = kisteherautó etc.) Then
we arrived and everybody was
already in the restaurant. We sat
down and ordered food. The
boys brought speakers so we
could listen to music, too. We
had much fun! :) It was interesting as we drank Coke from
wine glasses. :o We ate tasty Margherita pizza.
After the meal, we were dancing and having a great time (it
was worth coming here!). We
took many photos. At about
10.30 pm the teachers also
arrived and had dinner. I got
a present (a shower cream)
from one of the boys
(actually, he really liked me, I think). His name is Vito. Then,
the teachers called us. And I saw a cake on the table!!! I was so
surprised and I really
appreciated this attention and
kindness. All the teachers were
singing the ‘Happy Birthday’
song to ME! Miss Gera took
photos while I was blowing
the candles. I got a bar of
chocolate from the teachers of Makó.
When we got home, I got a birthday present: a pair of
trousers. I was very happy. :) This was my best birthday ever!
Thank you everybody! :)
I ♥ Gorgoglione!
DAY 3
This day also began with rain. We woke up late but it wasn’t a
problem. We had breakfast with Janka. I liked that thing filled
with chocolate. Yummy! We should have this kind of biscuit in
Hungary as well.
They took us to school. In the first two lessons we were busy
with designing the project logo about music and Comenius.
Then, Zsani and Máté went to a class while Janka and I to
another. We taught a couple of
things to the Italian students
about Hungary, Zsombó, our
school etc. We even made a
short presentation in English.
After that, we had lunch in
the canteen. The food was
tasty. Then, we visited Enza’s English lesson which lasted for 2
hours! :o At the end I felt very tired. Apart from that, it was a
lovely day.
We got home at 4.30 p.m., had a shower and prepared for the
party. It was quite okay, though I was in better parties, too,
like my birthday party yesterday! :D
DAY 4
A sunny day at last! :) We were really happy about that and
finally I could put on other (shorter) clothes. We had breakfast
and left for school.
We spent the first two lessons with Gianni’s class. First, it was
a Maths lesson. I found some of the problems they were solving
really hard. :o
Next, we visited Enza’s class. That was a Biology lesson, I think.
They were trying to explain us what was going on. We were
just nodding and saying OK. :) Time went slowly and finally I
even felt a bit bored.
In the afternoon, we spent some time with the family. We had
lunch with them: pizza, meatloaf and mozzarella. The cheese
was fantastic. Then we went upstairs and changed. We put on
casual clothes – hey, we were about to leave to a theatre!
The theatre was near the school.
The performance was really
nice: the teachers were singing,
the students played the flute
and they were dancing, too.
Then we did some shopping and bought some little presents for
our families. I met a boy called Nello. We went to a pizzeria.
The Italian students tried to teach us Italian words and we also
tried to make them pick up some Hungarian. We were chatting
a lot and then we walked home.
After we got home, Janka and I were watching the night lights
from the balcony. I was in bed when I realized that tomorrow
would be our last day. NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! :(
DAY 5
Another sunny morning. :) After breakfast, we went to school.
On our way to school, Janka and I were watching the
landscape. It was amazing, awesome. We didn’t want to go
home…
We spent 1 hour in the school with Giovanni’s class. We
couldn’t wait leaving for Enza’s class. They were really happy
to see us and we felt a bit sad as we knew it was our last day
there. Later, they had a lesson where everybody could do what
they wanted. We exchanged our Facebook names. Some even
asked our phone numbers. We taught them ‘I love you.’ in
Hungarian. :D We said goodbye to everybody and visited the
other classes, too. We even started to cry and poor Mrs. Soldo
didn’t know what was wrong. :( We explained her somehow
and she understood it.
We had lunch at home.
Then, we packed our
luggage and then we went
to the beach of Policoro.
The journey took about
an hour and I took a lot
of photos. Those high
mountains and hills… it was beautiful. The
seashore was fascinating! But they didn’t let us swim there. :(
We collected some shells and pebbles. We spent about 20
minutes there and then we went to do some shopping. We
bought pasta, chocolate, cheese and earrings. We tasted the
original Italian ice cream as well. Yummy! :)
After we got home, we went for a walk with our brand new
Italian friends. We went to a playground, took some photos,
laughed and chatted a lot. All in all, we had a great fun. We
will miss them a lot! :(
We went back to the house, had dinner (pizza) and we even
got a farewell present: a bracelet.
DAY 6
We got up very early: at 3 a.m. We took the bus at 4. We put
our luggage in the bus. Mine weighed 17.4 kg, a lot more than
at my arrival; perhaps because of the pasta and the drink
called Grappa I bought. We took a sad farewell from my ‘host
mum’ and the teachers, especially Mrs. Soldo. Almost every
child was sleeping on the bus – but not the Hungarian kids! :)
At dawn we saw beautiful mountains near Naples.
On our way to Naples, we were sad to see how dirty it was
and it was strange that people didn’t really care about the
traffic rules. :o When we got there, poor Janka realized that
she left her mobile phone on the bus. With the help of Miss
Gera, we called Janka’s phone and the bus driver answered it.
We tried to explain him to send Janka’s phone to the school to
Mrs. Soldo. Janka was very said. :(
We took off. The landscape was
awesome! After 40 minutes we
landed in Rome. Then, we had
to wait 3 more hours to the
connecting flight. We went
around the airport and
bought some chewing gum and Coke.
Then we took off again…
Goodbye Italy! I’ll miss you! I’ll
miss those shining faces, the
much love we got there. The
flight was okay, there was a
little monitor showing where
we were. We were flying at
12,000 m with a speed of 850 km/h! :o It was fantastic
to see our homeland from above!
When we arrived, the transfer bus was waiting for us. On our
way home we were talking and talking and all us agreed on
one thing: WE WANT TO GO BACK!!! :D Thank you for
everything.

DAY 1
All of us (Évi, Janka, Máté and me)
were looking forward to this day! We
left at about 3 a.m. The teachers
took a bus, while we were travelling
in a transfer car. They took us to
Ferenc Liszt International Airport.
The check-in was really exciting. Then, we had to wait a little
more time, but then, we were let enter the airplane. Gosh, it
was my very first flight in my lifetime! :D It was very exciting
to see the Earth from above (about 12 km). We didn’t even
feel that incredible speed in the air: 851 km/h!
First we arrived to Rome after
a 1.5-hour long flight. From
Rome, we went to Naples and
that took about 45 minutes.
At the airport we had to wait
for the Irish friends. And off
we go!
We went on a short
sightseeing tour. We saw many
nice buildings.
When we arrived to
the seashore, we ran into the
sea with tucked-up trousers.
:D
Then, we could taste the
original Italian pizza! :)
Finally, we went back to the
airport for the Polish guests.
After a 3-hour long journey on
a bus, we arrived to Stigliano.
The bus stopped in front of a hotel
where the host families were
waiting for their little guests. I
got a very kind host family. We
took me to their house and I ate
some cake. Then came the
well-deserved sleep!
DAY 2
My first night was good. In the morning, the family woke me
up, I drank my tea and we left for school.
I visited the lessons of Year 3. I
was at school until 12.30, then
the dad took me and children
to the grandma. The meal was
extraordinary!
After lunch, we went home and
watched cartoons and films. Carlo’s
(he’s five) favourite film is ‘Spiderman’.
In the
afternoon, the mum took me to
a restaurant. All the ‘Comenius
children’ were there! :D We
talked a lot, we ate pizza and
then it was ‘party time’! I had a
great fun and I danced a lot which I really enjoyed.
And then came Évi’s surprise: a birthday cake! She didn’t even
expect it and she was really happy. She got a tasty ice-cream
cake.
At the end of the party, Mario (the dad) drove me home. I
went to sleep right away, I was so tired.
DAY 3
I got up at 8 a.m., I drank my tea and just like yesterday, we
went to school. We spent there the whole day, we went home
at about 4.30 p.m. We had lunch in the school canteen. The
food was really good, so Italian! :)
Later at home, I was watching an exciting film together with
the 2 children.
Then, we went to a house where there was a party – again. :D
We played, chatted a lot and we spent a wonderful time there.
I went with Máté (and his new ‘girlfriend’) for a walk. I liked
those little crooked streets.
After the party, we went home and watched ‘Twilight’ in
Italian. :D
DAY 4
The weather is nice (first time this week). In the morning
Mario took me to school. First, we visited younger students.
Next, we went to upper classes.
The younger pupils were having a Maths lesson, while the older
students had Science. They were learning about human bones.
My host family come to collect me at 1 p.m. We went to the
grandma, who prepared a very tasty lunch. Then, we came
home. I played memory card games with Giulia. It was fun! :D
Later, I got dressed up and we left for the concert. There were
all the Comenius children. :) First, the children performed
dances, played musical
instruments and then the
teachers sand a couple of songs. I
was amazed. And those dances!
There were different songs and
music. Awesome atmosphere,
awesome people!
After the concert, Janka, Évi and our Italian friends went to
have a pizza. We had a good time with excellent food.
At home we watched ‘The Princess Diaries’ with the family –
in Italian. :) After the film, I went to bed right away.
DAY 5
The last day I was going to spend in an Italian school… :( The
weather was really fine. We left for school at 8.30. First, we
visited a Maths lesson. Next, we went to a class where there
were students of the same age. That was an Italian lesson.
Finally, we said goodbye to our friends and went to younger
pupils’ class (Biology, I think). They were studying about the
dinosaurs.
We had lunch at the grandma’s house. After lunch, we came
home and (as usual) we were watching films and cartoons.
Then, we were chatting. I went to bed quite early as next day
we were leaving… :(
DAY 6
My host family woke me up at
about 2.30 a.m. My ‘host dad’
took me to the bus stop where we got
together. The bus arrived at 4.30. First, we travelled 45
minutes and then we took another bus. The next journey took
3 hours. We arrived to Naples. We had to wait 1 hour and
then we checked in.
The first flight took 45 minutes. We stayed in Rome for 4
hours. We took another flight to Budapest. The transfer bus
and car were waiting for us at the airport.
At home I had a wonderful ‘mom made’ meal! :)

DAY 1
The transfer bus collected us at 3 a.m.
We arrived at the airport at about
4.50. We checked in and the plane
took off at 7.15. Well, my ears
clogged during the flight. After the
plane landed, we had to wait for the
connecting flight which took us from Rome to Naples. It was a
bit late. Italy was beautiful from
above! :)
In Naples we collected our baggage. A
teacher from Makó didn’t get hers. It
arrived with another plane later. The
Irish arrived at about 11.40. After that,
we took a bus and went sightseeing.
We also tasted pizza. They gave us a
big one, we couldn’t eat it. We took
a walk in the city; then went to
the seashore and tasted the salty
seawater. On our way back, Miss
Gera bought something from a vender, she tried to bargain. :)
The man was very hard-bitten but finally Miss Gera could
persuade him to reduce the price. Then, we went back to the
airport because the Polish arrived. We took a bus again and
travelled about 3.5 hours to Stigliano.
When we arrived, the
host families came to
collect us. My host
family was very kind
and friendly.
DAY 2
I got up at 7.30. We had breakfast and
we left for school.
There we visited some classes and
presented our slideshow. Then we
talked to older students. We also
visited a Music lesson.
After school, they took me home
and we had lunch. I wrote an e-
mail to my family and then we played football and played a
puzzle game. We also watched an English film.
Giambattista went to his friend and I went with him. We
played computer games and we also played table football.
Suddenly I saw Évi and Janka. This was their host family! We
went sightseeing. On the go, we met the head teacher, Mrs.
Maróti. We also went to see where Giambattista’s dad works.
In the evening, we ordered a pizza. We (Giambattista, his
friend and me) brought the pizza at 9 p.m. On our way, we
met a strange person: Fornabaio was talking to his friend, he
took off 20€ from Fornabaio’s hand and put it into his own
wallet… Later he gave it back. We went to bed at 11.15 pm.
DAY 3
We went to the school where
we had to design the logo of
the project. It was a bit
boring because it lasted for 3
hours! :o Then, we visited
older students and we could
talk to them. We also watched a film.
When the teacher left the classroom, everybody started to
shout. When he returned, he told off some of them. The
students showed me some games and told me to try them.
There was a kind of gyroscope.
Later, we went to have lunch. After lunch, we visited an
English lesson. They were learning about some kind of haunted
castle, I think. They were listening to the story. One of the
children got scared and he started to scream in a funny voice
and that made everybody laugh for about 5 minutes. :D Next,
we did puzzles about the family.
After the lessons, we went to a party. Everybody was there.
We were playing games. I played checkers. I won many times. :)
We also went for a walk.
I returned to my host family and I took them a little surprise.
They were very happy. I showed photos of my family.
DAY 4
We visited lessons of the
younger pupils. They were
learning about units. We
began to write numbers in
our dictionary.
The teacher told us to write
numbers on the interactive whiteboard in
Hungarian and English and they added their Italian meaning.
We made them pronounce the Hungarian numbers. We showed
them the photos we took on our way to Italy. Then came a
short break. We went to another class, where there were older
students. They had a Science lesson. The teacher handed out
some tests. Some students got very poor grades. They could
have another go. The next lesson was P.E., but we decided to
go back to the younger ones instead. :) They were playing
something on the IWB, and we found out what was the point
of the game. :D
After school, we went back to the family and had lunch. First,
we ate pasta, of course. Then, we had some sort of ham and a
vegetable that was similar to nettle… Anyhow, it was nice.
In the afternoon, we played games (checkers and puzzles).
DAY 5
This was our last day at school so we visited the younger
pupils. They were checking the homework. We said goodbye to
them. I found it very strange that they never went outside in
the breaks. It was a catholic school. In the first break we went
to the older students and had a quick chat with them. Finally,
we took a couple of photos.
After school, the dad came to collect us (he didn’t work). He
took me to a clothes shop and bought me an Italian T-shirt as
a souvenir. We had lunch and then we set off to a town called
Matera. It was 80 km far from
us. The landscape was beautiful!
Later, I came to know that
Matera is an old town. The
children’s father works here,
in a bank. We went into a
church, too. Antonella and
Maria Lucia went to buy shoes and clothes.
Then, we ate an ice cream. :)
We arrived back to Stigliano at 9 p.m. We had dinner and
then I started to pack my luggage.
DAY 6
Early in the morning I said
goodbye to my host family.
We had to get to the bus stop
by 3 a.m. After a 2-hour
long bus journey, we arrived
to a bus station. It was very
cold. We took a bus to Naples.
We checked in at the airport
and after 2 hours of waiting
the plane took off at 11.30.
It landed in Rome in
12.25. We had to wait
another 4 hours. What’s
more, the boarding gate
was changed. The plane took off at 4 p.m.
Altitude: 11,000 m, speed: 850 km/h. When we were landing,
there was a strange noise: as if somebody was sawing the
bottom of the plane. :O We collected our baggage from the
baggage carousel.
We got to Zsombó in about an hour but it lasted me for 2
hours to tell my family
what happened to me this
week. :)

Photo Dispatch
by Our Hungarian Correspondents
The following photos were taken by the students of Zsombó.
Rosa:
We were very happy to realize this great experience, to know
and to meet European pupils from Hungary, Poland and
Ireland.
Giuseppe:
Taking part in European cooperation activities meant us,
children living in a little village in the South of Italy, having the
opportunity to meet European friends exchanging methods,
cultures and tradition so as to grow together, too.
Giulia:
What a wonderful experience, I will never forget it, because
European students were our guests in our families for 4 days
and they worked with us in class, too.
All together we were at Sarubbi hotel, we were waiting for our
European friends. I was so excited! With me there were
Martina, Gianni and Giambattista. Here they come! All of
them were agitated to find their hosts. At some point, my
teacher Luciana called: “family Geronimo” and she introduced
us to our guests and their teachers. She was lost and very
tired, but with a beautiful smile, very shyly told us in English:
‘My name is Zsanett.’ I could not say a word, but luckily my
brother took her by the hand and together we went home: She
said she was very tired and so we went to bed in my room.
Think how nice, we shared my bedroom! I was so happy that I
could not sleep because it was the first time that there was a
girl in my bedroom. In the morning when my mom woke us
up, Zsanett was all smiles.
Martina:
After almost two years we still write with my Irish friends:
Megan and Grace. Sometimes we also try long chats via Skype
program
Gianni:
I didn’t expect me to be friends with European pupils, all my
family is very glad that Eva and Janka, my penpals that I
hosted them with great and immense pleasure, become family
friends.
Milly:
Long ago it was very difficult to have contact with European
people. After with internet, Comenius and eTwinning projects
our culture and European cultures have become only one
culture!
Liza:
All together have creatively invented and designed a logo for
our project that represents us. With our music teacher, Mr
Francesco Cafarella we sang our Comenius anthem. What fun!
Suddenly come in the class our teachers: Luciana and Giuliano
holding baskets with red and succulent strawberries. Mmmm...
boys and girls delicious snack! Our European friends have been
happy to enjoy our strawberries.
The next day Martina's mother organized a nice lunch
together. In the evening everyone in the restaurant! Finally a
beautiful Italian pizza!
It doesn’t end here!
There's a surprise for Eva! It's his birthday and our teacher
Luciana made her a beautiful and delicious cake.
Happy Birthday Éva!
