A swift transfer from the International Airport of
Cagliari will have you at the port in minutes,
where OMBRE BLU will be waiting to embark
you.
Cagliari - the capital of Sardinia, has been
inhabited since prehistoric times. Among the
remains of the ancient city you will find a
second century roman amphitheatre, ancient
cisterns, the ruins of a small temple and an
archaeological museum rich with artifacts.

Apart from the archaeological sites to be found
on this itinerary, you will discover long,
beautiful beaches alternating with rocky bays.
The azure waters are full of sea life and render
the area a haven for diving and snorkeling…
Just around the corner from Cagliari lies the
bay of Poetto - a marvelous anchorage.
A popular swimming spot for the locals, the
beach is lined with bars and restaurants.
Enjoy a swim, a walk along the promenade,
followed by a relaxing evening on board.

Just a couple of hours West of Poetto lies the
ancient Phoenician city of Nora.
Situated on a point with white sandy beaches
on either side, the Phoenicians used these
bays as trading ports and anchorages for their
ships.
Enjoy swimming, a walk on beach or just relax
and soak up the sun.
In the morning, take a guided visit of the
archeological site which traces back to 800BC.

After breakfast and a pleasant sail, arrive at
the area of Capo Teulada.
Crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches
are a highlight. You will step off the boat into
your own private swimming pool!
We will either stay at anchor or move into the
Teulada Marina for the night.

Capo Sperone is at the Southern tip of the
island of Sant'Antioco.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first-
ever scuba dive as the surrounding waters are
shallow and clear. If you are not a diver then
you can enjoy snorkeling or kayaking in our
twin kayaks

dinner on board.

After a relaxing breakfast we sail to Isola di
San Pietro. There are many anchorages to
explore including Punta delle Colonne.
This could be the perfect moment to take
advantage of our on board massage service.

Enjoy a leisurely sail around the island of San
Pietro. It will be well-worth throwing out a line
to try to snare a tuna before cruising into the
marina of Carloforte.
San Pietro’s quaint town of Carloforte, was
once a major center for tuna fishing. The
festival of ‘Giro Tonno’ is still an annual event
(late May/early June) where an ancient old
tradition of catching Bluefin tuna is practiced -
this is known as ‘La Mattanza’.
Dine ashore in the famous restaurant of 'Da
Nicolo' famous for its traditional tuna dishes.

Depending on the forecast we will either sail to
Pan di Zucchero or to Sant'Antioco.
Pan di Zucchero is a magnificent rock
formation 133m high. Also to be viewed is the
Porto Flavia Gallery an x-ship-loading point for
minerals featuring a 600m tunnel through the
rock with a sheer drop over Pan di Zucchero.
To reach Sant’Antioco one must pass through
a narrow lagoon canal for approx. 6 miles
guided by one of the locals. Sant'Antioco
looks like a typical fisherman’s village and
here you will experience the true spirit of
Sardinian hospitality.

A short sail to the south and to the east will
bring us to Porto Pino.
Highlights are long beaches, pink sand, dunes,
coves and pine forests. Ashore, in the small
village friendly locals are ready to show-off
their culture.
Today you will have time to complete your
onboard dive course, enjoy a massage or just
relax in the privacy of your yacht OMBRE BLU
at anchor.

Upon arrival at Capo Malfatano, enjoy a
wonderful lunch at anchor.
In the afternoon, enjoy swimming or kayaking
throughout the numerous bays.
Relax on-deck and enjoy a sunset cocktail in
our secluded anchorage for the night.

Sailing eastward along the coastline, including
the famous beach of Chia.
After lunch and swimming, we will continue
towards Cagliari, and return to the marina of
Portus Karalis.
Enjoy the evening ashore dining at the one of
the city's finest restaurants!
In the morning, we will assist you with your
disembarkation and transfer on to your next
destination.
