SignA project

• SIGNA is the National Geographic Institute of Spain (IGN-E) web portal that displays the geographic information available, allowing, also, the users to query and analyze them. It also allows adding data from external sources through Standard Web Services.

• Different functionalities and Web Services types are provided.

Conclusions

• Main results • An ontology network related to the SIGNA project. • A tool (geometry2RDF) for generating RDF according to

GeoSPARQL. • Interlinking SIGNA POIs with the Web of Data. • Linked Data is combined with different SDI services in order to

exploit geospatial component.

• Future work • Generating and publishing Linked Data. • Developing a semantic search system.
