1 Remove Adjustable End Bracket.

2 Cut through WOOD part of header only,on desired door size marking.

3 Turn Header over and cut Track 1-3/8" (19mshorter than wood Header.

4 Replace Adjustable End Bracketon new cut end of header.

5 Turn Header on side and cut 3/4" (19mm)Head Trim Board ONLY at proper mark.

Remove cut off end and discard.

6 Turn Header andcut off other side.

is held in center of opening without binding.

1 Header must be SQUARE andPLUMB with studs and LEVEL.

Mark each side jamb and drive a flat head nailon centerline, leaving 1/8" (3.2mm) protruding.ame header end plates will rest on these nails.)

2 Snap two chalk lines on floor evenwith side jambs as shown.

3 Slip slots in Frame Header EndPlates over nails in side jambs.

4 Slip fingers on floor Plates into thereinforcing strips of Split Studs

as shown. Butt Split Studs againstheader nailer strips and nail in place.

ARemove Adjustableend bracket.

BCut through WOOD

part of header only, on proper door size mark.

CReplace Adjustable End Bracket on new cut end

of header.

ETurn Header on side and cut 3/4" (19mm)

Head Trim Board ONLY at proper mark. Remove cut off end and discard.

Cutting Instructions for pocket door frame header: The head is stamped for cutting to shorter lengths. Cutting instructions are below.

To assure accuracy, use a tape measure

7 Attach door plate 1121 to top of door2" (50mm) from each edge with locking tabs

on same side. Insert hanger 1120 onto track.Mount door by locating door plate 1121

under adjusting bolt of 1120. Lift door andpush bolt into door plate. Lock locking tab.

Attach door plates 2" from each edge on top of door with the lock tabs on the same side.

Alternate wheels in track. Lift door onto bolts, then lock the tab in place.

Cutting Instructions for Pocket Door Frame Header

Slide the slot on the Header End bracket and Track bracket over the nails set from step 1

Header must be Level and studs should bePlumb. Hammer a nail (leave 1/8" sticking out) on centerline of each stud. Pocket Header will rest on these.

Chalk floor even with Studs

Insert floor bracket into bottom of steel stiffeners, see above. Butt stiffeners to header nailing strip, then nail into place (Wood side of stiffeners facing out)
