Not only does this project serve to inform the students about Europe but the
type of product (MaDe for Europe) makes the students ambassadors for
Europe themselves.
The experience of the partner schools in Comenius projects shows us that
communication with people from other countries/cultures broadens horizons
and makes participants feel more confident about travelling, studying or
working abroad. Establishing long-term contacts that last even when the project
is over can function as a multiplier for European friendship and cooperation.
By breaking down stereotypes and prejudices by working in a European
context we can decrease misconceptions about other countries and develop
European friendships. To reach these objectives we will study historic bonds
between the countries and our socio-cultural reality, learn about the culture of
our partners during our visits to different countries.
