Colour Palette inspired by the dierent skin tones.

As the space was designed to suit any brand, the concept of Skin colour themes was applied. The space should functions as an architectural backdrop enhancing the products sold. The interior will be dresses by the products in the store, the product will give it the visual identity representing the certain brand.

My inspiration for this colour theme concept come from the picture - Dove Real Beauty. In fact there is just a small percenta of people with ‘ideal’ bodies. However, the clothes are always presented on extra slim bodies - in shops (maneguins) as well as on real models during the fashion shows.

My idea was to have manequins of dierent sizes. I believe it will have a positive impact on the society. Moreover, cloths look dierent on each size of bodies, and therefore what look nice on a gurine, might not look that great in reality. The retail store should show how to dress even larger bodies.

I have decided to incorpo-rate transparent manne-quins in my design. I believe they would blend nicely with the store. How-ever they woild have to be bespoke as they are currently selling just one size of the body type.

Polished and Matt Concrete

My choice was to use concrete as the mateerial for the oor. Concrete can be polished of matt what will work quite nicely in my design - to diferentiate the shapes leading to dierent shopping zones and the rest of the oor. This material is also sustainable, durable, cost eec-tive, and easy to apply to large spaes such as retail stores. Plus the concrete can be mixed with dierent colours.

One side glass one side mirrorwill be used as the front wall of the retail store

There are no shop windows, however the front walls of the shop are made of one side mirror glass, so people can see what is going on inside of the shop, however the people shopping inside are not distrusted by the busy atmosphere on the outside. The other side of this surface oers so essen-tial for fashion store - mirror

I got this brochure at the 100% design event this year in September. HI-Macs is Naturel Acrylic stone with a lot of ben-ets. Most importantly, it can have any shape what will be ideal for the internal walls and stair-like structures in my design.

The company Vitrosca oeres windows with a wide range of thicknesses. Plus their inno-vative system does not require and frames. - The Minimalist Window was invented by Eric Joray in 1992.

Fitting on the walls of my design are magnetic, are flexible, and easy to adapt acording to the retailer needs. (They will be bespoke, this is just an example how it would work.

Barrisol stretched ceiling will be used for the shaped lights in the central area.

Barrisol Lumière - lighting stretch ceiling - uses a Barrisol translucent sheet enlightened by a higher source of light. It then becomes possible to play with the light intensity thanks to a system of light variation.

Barrisol can have any shape (2D or 3D) as well as colour or even a picture.
