1.Introduction to Colors, Sizes and Materials Swatch PRO

Magento Colors, Sizes and Materials Swatch PRO extension is a perfect tool for customers

to select some product options. The extension shows these options in the catalogue

(category pages, search results, product list by tags or other filters) and on the product page.

The product gets changed instantly, depending on the options, you have picked.

2. How to Install

Step 1: Use FTP client to upload all folders from the zip package to your Magento site root

folder. Be sure that you upload them to the correct directories.

Attention! If your template is not default, be sure to change the folders of the installed module

from /app/design/frontend/default/default to

/app/design/frontend/YOUR_PACKAGE/YOUR_THEME and /skin/frontend/default/default to

/skin/frontend/ YOUR_PACKAGE /YOUR_THEME

How to Deactivate

Step 1. Disable Extension.

Log into MagentoAdmin Panel and go to System Configuration Color Swatch Pro

Settings

Select "Disable" to deactivate the extension. Click Save Config button.

The extension is now deactivated.

Step 2.Clear cache.

Go to System Cache Management.

Clear the store cache.

3. How to Configure

Log in to the admin panel, and we will show you how to configure the extension step by step.

If you want to create any type of configurable products with different options, transfer to

System > Configuration > Color Swatch Pro on your dashboard.

Youll see page for Colors, Sizes and Materials Swatch Pro extension settings.

The first section is common settings. Here you can choose Enable or Disable extension.

In the Attributes to Replace tab, you should enter attributes of Configurable Product.

The next you should choose to use icons or not.

If you choose to use icons the next step will be selection to show all options or only allowed.

In the first case all options are shown but only allowed are available to be clicked.

In the Icons Directory field you should enter the folder, if the icons are used.

In the Icon Extension tab you should enter files format.

In the tab Switch Image you can choose Yes/No. If Yes, the image will change depend on

chosen options, if No the image will be standard for all attributes.

The last tab is Auto Selection. If several options are available, when the first option is

selected, all further options are chosen automatically to the first value. You should only

choose Yes/No.

The next section is Category/Search Results/Tag Product List Page settings.

First of all choose to show options on Category page or not. Other 4 settings are available if

options are enabled.

In the field Image Size enter width and height.

In the next fields you should choose if the link to all options will be available and enter the link

text.

In the last tab enter the maximum number of icons could be shown. For example, 4 icons.

The last section is Product View Page settings.

In this section you should enter sizes of images and thumbs to be displayed on the product

page. Select the optimal size for your store.

4. How to Use

Its time to show how Colors, Sizes and Materials Swatch PRO extension will be looked at

frontend.

You may set icons or dropdown menu.

You can display the unused or out of stock colors. They keep present but can not be clicked.

You can select a standart image for all products or a special one depending on option.

You may choose to show options on category page or not.

You can set the number of shown icons.

And finally, you may select the image size to fit your store perfectly well.
