What You’ll Need:

Baby - 40"x52" - 6 x 8 layout

48 blocks - 16 main strips, 24 background Shopping List: 1 main roll, 2 background roll

Throw - 76"x76" - 12 x 12 layout

144 blocks - 48 main strips, 56 background Shopping List: 3 main rolls, 3 background rolls

- you will have enough main fabric strips for binding

Queen - 94" x 94" - 15 x 15 layout 225 blocks - 75 main strips, 87 background

Shopping List: 4 main rolls, 5 background rolls

King - 108" x 108" - 18 x 18 layout 324 blocks - 108 main strips, 120 background

Shopping List: 6 main rolls, 6 background rolls - you will have enough main fabric strips for binding

INSTRUCTIONS

1. From 1 color strip, cut (3) 6.5” pieces and (1) 16” piece. From 1 white strip, cut (2) 16” pieces.

2. Using your (2) 16” white pieces and (1) 16” color piece, sew strips

together white-color-white.

Baby, make 16.

Throw, make 48.

Queen, make 75.

King, make 108.

3. Cut each 16” 3-strip segment into (6) 2.5” pieces.

4. Using (2) segments from Step 3 and (1) 6.5” color strip, create

your cross block.

You’ll get 3 blocks of each color strip!

5. Finish your top by sewing together blocks in rows, and then sewing the rows together. Complete by adding a 1-strip white

border all around (see below for individual size layouts). Lay out your blocks before assembling your top to make sure you like the

color/pattern distribution around your quilt top. Taking a picture really helps with this! :D

Baby – 6 x 8

Throw – 12 x 12

Queen – 15 x 15

King – 18 x 18
