History of State

First visited by spain in the 1500s. The territory was claimed by the Spainish 1706 by Juan De Ulibarri. The Us had obtain colorado as part of the Louisanna purchase in 1803-1848. They had gotten the eastern part in 1803, they had gotten the central  portion with the admission of Texas as a state ion 1845, and finally the western part in 1848 after the Mexicain War.
