Specific Specific DetailsDetails•It is a X-linked trait which means that the X

chromosome is the one that carries the trait

•Color blindness is autosomal recessive meaning it would need to be homozygous recessive for it to occur.

•Since it is linked with the X sex chromosome it means that men are more susceptible since men only have 1 X gene therefore there is only a need for 1 for it to occur in males.

•The trait affects the three cones in the eye that allow you to see colors. They let us see red, green and blue. When you are color blind you actually lose one of these cones.
