What is happening?Honey bees when sick will fly off to die so they dont infect the whole hiveBut with CCD worker bees are not sick they just think they areOnce the bees all fly away then the queen who relies the worker bees to get her food die and so does the hive Some people keep bee hive as a hobby or a job

Why is this happening? There are many reason but all are related to humans.PesticidesDisease and parasites from bees which are from other countries.( so our trade)Us not cleaning and make sure the bees are healthy before bring them into the country Stress from the environment or nutritional factors.( us cutting down flowers and destroying there hive)

Where is this happening?TEMPERATE FORESTS where we liveTemperate forest have moderate climatesFour seasons with a defined winterMost of our food is grown here75-150 cm of precipitation

Why it effects us?Honey bees pollinate flowers and treesAlso they pollinate all of our food like apples and cherries and pumpkinsIf all the bees go then we lose foodIn south china this happen and now people pollinate the flowers and food by handThis will also effect animalsWe eat the honey they make and use the beeswax

How can we stop this?By not using pesticide on our lawn Plant more flowers and flowering trees like the red clover, foxglove, bee balm, and joe-pye weedLet an honey bee hive stay unless it is hurting some one( honey bee dont sting unless provoked)
