Morning Reflection Jesus foretells the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will teach and cause those who believe to remember what Jesus said. Jesus’ promise is joined with the assurance of peace. In the midst of believing, the peace we receive will not be

of this world. It will be the counsel of the Holy Spirit, who will make the word of Jesus penetratingly clear.

RESPONSE TO THE WORD

Affirmation of Faith - Nicene Creed We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally be-gotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pi-late; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seat-ed at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We also provide a nursery for children– infants through age three (3). Our nursery worker is Jenny Calderone.

Our Children’s Church program for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade begins following the Children’s Sermon. They will return during communion.

Noisy Collection Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!!

May's noisy change collection is to benefit Urban Promise's

Summer Jobs. Let's show our teens that we respect their desire to work, to make a difference in their community,

to grow as leaders and to change Camden.

A memorial service for Paul Ziegler will be held at our church on June 8th at 2:00 pm.

Paul and Chris were active members of our congregation before

they moved to North Carolina 15 years ago.
