Let’s Scan (or Survey the Article) Do we have background knowledge on
the subject? What questions do the Authors want us to
be able to answer after reading? Now let’s read and prepare for Friday’s
discussion…except you will perform all the roles of discussion: Question, Clarify, Summarize, Connect, and offer a “So What?”
Homework: Read RFR Chapter 5 pages 238-252 Do exercises 5 & 6 Begin Reading (SQ3R) Robot be Good;
identify topic sentences if any and paraphrase main ideas of paragraphs
