Health Sciences is a multidisciplinary field. It combines bio-medical, psycho-social, organizational and societal aspects of health, disease and health care. The Health Science Bachelor of Science degree provides working professionals and students interested in the health field.

Career OpertunitiesThose who major in health sciences may work in schools, hospitals, government agencies, in public health or administration, or for non- profit groups. The degree can lead to career advancement. Some career options include patient educator, health educator, lab manager, community health organizer, health care facility coordinator. The health science degree can serve as a pathway towards a variety of allied health professional degrees such as nursing, pharmacy, etc.
