This magazine cover will appeal to students because the image on the front is enjoying singing and this gives the magazine a fun and welcoming atmosphere to it.

you want them to include a certain story. Student union Social clubs Theme of colours are also on the front page.

Wolfson College Magazine

This college magazine looks much more formal than the “Lewish college” one.

The mast head is very large and the picture is of the college.

There is no clue on the magazine front cover about what you will find inside.

To me, this magazine looks like it will appeal to the more sophisticated members of the college and also the teachers.

The magazine cover includes the college logo at the top and the title of the college is centred on the page.

Spring Hill College Magazine This college magazine uses a serif font for it’s

mast head. The background and image of the magazine

cover looks like a students’ piece of art work. This may appeal to students because it may be some one they knows piece of art work.

I think that the ‘Surviving in a tough economic climate’ piece of text is very effective because of the use of different fonts, font sizes, colours and the use of both serif and sans serif fonts.
