OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY

My name is Kristina Dellovade and I am a senior at the Ohio State University studying strategic communications, with a focus in public relations andadvertising. Fashion has always been a huge part of my life which is why I am excited to join the CollegeFashionista team.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now attend college in the Buckeye State where I have found that much of the fashion influences in both of thesecities are heavily influenced by their sports teams. I love attending sporting events, but I just prefer to leave the Steeler and Buckeye apparel for game days.

I believe fashion allows you to express yourself differently on a daily basis in your own unique way. During these cold winter months I love wearing bootsand lots of layers. In my closet you will find lots of blouses, chunky sweaters, leggings and lace tops. One of my favorite things to do is mix and matchdifferent textures, such as a lace top with a studded bracelet or boots.

Mixing and matching high and low price points is the key for many college students to stay on budget. Although I may love designers such as Marc Jacobsand Diane von Furstenberg my budget just simply can’t afford it most of the time. I love stores like Forever 21 and H&M because they allow you to puttogether a fashionable outfit at a reasonable cost.

I will be doing Spotlight Fashionista/o of the week this semester, and I’m so excited to show everyone some of the Fashionista’s and Fashionisto’s that areat Ohio State’s campus.
