Kerrang Magazine.

With this magazine, I like how it is laid out. I like the use of layers and how the photographs are layered over the mast head of the magazine and how the main pull line is placed over the photo as well as the cover lines.

I think that ‘Kerrang’ magazine is aimed at teenagers and anyone who are in to rock, screamo, and any heavy type of music.

The total average circulation figure per issue is 43,253 copies. Source: http://www.abc.org.uk/Data/ProductPage.aspx?tid=1917

People who are in to rockish, punkish, heavy kind of genre of music would buy this magazine. This may because they want to catch up with the latest gigs, new music and also to catch up with band gossip. Also to find out about unsigned bands.

Q Magazine.

With this magazine, I like how basic it is but also how it is effective. I like the use of photography and how Dave Grohl has his arms crossed and has a dark stare to make you want to know why he is like that so you but the magazine to find out. I also like how most of the information is on the left third and looks organised.

I think that Q magazine is aimed at more older people who want to know what's going on with artists from the older generation of music and the newer generation of music because of it’s vast number of exclusive interviews.

Q Magazine’s circulation figure is 103,017. Source: http://dezji.wordpress.com/2009/02/12/uk-music-magazine-circulation-figures-to-dec-2008/

NME Magazine.

With this NME magazine, I like how it is simple but still effective. I like how the cover lines on the left third relate to the photography used for the main pull line. The photography used of Billie Joe clutching his head looks like he is having problems with his mind which relates to the pull quote “inside the mind.”

I think that this magazine is aimed at teenagers and young adults. And these people would be the people that would buy it because to find out what's going on with their favourite bands.

The total average circulation figure per issue is 40,948 copies.

Rock Sound Magazine.

With this magazine, I like the layout of the front cover. I like how the photograph over laps the mast head, this shows that the magazine is well known and people should know what the name of the magazine is even though the mast head is not properly seen.

Again, I think this magazine is aimed at teenagers and young adults. I think they would read ‘Rock Sound’ to get up to date with their favourite bands.

The total average circulation figure per issue is 20,011 copies. Source:http://www.abc.org.uk/Data/ProductPage.aspx?tid=10673
