HISTORY OF C&O WORKGROUP

• Works to build partnerships that foster collaboration and communication within the water-quality monitoring community

• Responsible for sharing publications (newsletter), meetings (recorded Webex), and web seminars

• Assists with Council Webpage

• Supports state and regional councils

NEW GOALS OF C&O

• Expand membership: additional interested Council members needed for C&O workgroup

• Help to develop the internal website

• Release a new, easier to use NWQMC website

• Increase social media presence

FALL NEWSLETTER Call for articles in August, 2014

Newsletter will be published in September or October, 2014

• Electronic newsletter highlighting recent activities of Council as well as those of state, regional, and tribal councils, watershed partnerships, and volunteer monitoring groups

• Submit draft text, figures and photos

• Articles should highlight successes, projects, publications, tools, or findings of interest to this community
