The 1000 Journals Project is an ongoing collaborative experiment attempting to follow 1000 journals throughout their travels. The goal is to provide a method for interaction and shared creativity among friends and strangers.

working across boundaries

• This sculpture, created in collaboration with 40 high school students from two countries, can be viewed at Peace Arch Park, on the border of Canada and the United States.

• This is the first sculpture of this kind to be followed by a series created collaboratively across Canada.  The artwork is suitable for both outdoor or indoor public display. 

100 Artists agreed to a challenge to participate in our show to raise awareness and

funds for the Marion-Polk Food Share.  Each artist was

mailed a simple food can, unpackaged, nothing inside

except two beans and a small tag with the name of the show

"Nourish and Sustain".
