El calafate is a small town in Patagonia,Argentina in the Southwest part of Santa Cruz province,about 320 kms Northwest of Rio Gallegos

THE WEATHER

In the summer the weather in Calafate is dry ,sunny and can be very hot.

The winters are very cold.

There is a big diference of temperature between day and night.

You can see the most famous glaciers , Fitz Roy mount, walk around the woods and enjoy the typical vegetation. You can also see typical animals such us : eagles, wild cats, condors and guanacos.
