Name: Alec Walker (Far Left)Age: 24
Alec ushered me down memory lane, reminiscing about the time spent with grandfather at the convenience store on hot summer afternoons. They would pop open cold Coca-Cola to refresh themselves. They would head back to the house with a six-pack in tow, but the carrier would typical repeatedly scratch and rub against his hand, suggesting they should pos-sibly bow out away from the handle.
Name: Shuai ZhouAge: 23
Shaui was very insightful, explaining the importance of the clearance be-tween the hand and the bottle. He enjoyed the novelty of the glass bottle, suggesting that he would like it the caps were not as sharp or twist-off.
I focused on making the carrier han-dle with better clearance, use less packaging material, and reflect Coca-Cola brand identity, presenting bottle in unique and new look.

Ideation
To address the stated problems, I thought the easiest way to address the size of the carrier to resize for two-pack design and to try to eliminate the need set the these on shelves. In addition, I looked at the potential for a three-pack design, offering both to provide customers the most flex-ible quantity choices. Coca-Cola’s glass bottle emulates elegances with subtle curves that I wanted to exhibit in the my design.

Prototyping
To develop a carrier system that hugs the bottle at the top and the bottom, suspending the bottle into the carrier. In addition, I wanted explore other ma-terials as I approach the final product. Chipboard was the main material used.
