Rolling clay into rope-like pieces and then coiling them upon one another to create the desired form
Materials:White earthenware clay, clay tools, low fire earthenware glazes

Project Requirements:• 6” – 8” tall, at least 3” diameter at
widest point• Inside walls are smoothed completely
while outside still shows the coils• Coil designs are incorporated within the
vase• Vase is glazed using 2 or more colors as
directed
Due Dates:• Green ware finished: Friday 11/16• Final project complete (worth 100
points, graded using 3-D Art Beginning Scoring Rubric): TBD
