PO Box 42001 San Juan, PR 00940-2001 Telephone (787) 722-2525 Tuesday, October 29, 2019 COFINA Launches New Investor Relations Website (San Juan, P.R) Today the Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation (the “Corporationor “COFINA,” by its Spanish acronym) announced it has launched an investor relations website, www.cofina.pr.gov, to assist the Corporation in increasing transparency to investors with respect to those certain Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales Tax Bonds, Series 2019A and Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales Tax Bonds, Series 2019B (together, the “COFINA Bonds”) issued in connection with the Third Amended Title III Plan of Adjustment of Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation dated January 9, 2019 (the “Plan of Adjustment”) and authorized under Act 91-2006, as amended (the “Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Act”). The Corporation is one of the first Puerto Rico governmental entities to fully restructure its legacy debt and establish an independent board of directors and operations, but, with the publication of the FY2017 and FY2018 audited financial statements, it has become one of the first issuers in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to become current with the publication of its audited financial statements. “Under the guidance of the Corporation’s independent board, the Corporation launches the new investor relations site as part of its ongoing efforts to improve investor engagement, as well as provide an additional level of transparency and disclosure for the Corporation’s bondholders and potential investors,” commented Mr. Mohammad Yassin, COFINA’s Executive Director. “The new platform, www.cofina.pr.gov, is a corporate-style investor relations site featuring substantial data and documentation detailing the credit fundamentals behind the COFINA Bonds and the Corporation’s strong credit profile,” added COFINA board member Mr. Daniel Heimowitz. The platform is powered by BondLink, a Boston-based financial technology company that provides investor outreach solutions to issuers in the $4 trillion municipal bond market. COFINA Launches New Investor Relations Website

(San Juan, P.R) Today the Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation (the “Corporation”

or “COFINA,” by its Spanish acronym) announced it has launched an investor relations

website, www.cofina.pr.gov, to assist the Corporation in increasing transparency to investors

with respect to those certain Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales

Tax Bonds, Series 2019A and Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales

Tax Bonds, Series 2019B (together, the “COFINA Bonds”) issued in connection with the Third

COFINA lanza nuevo portal cibernético para potenciar relaciones con inversionistas

(San Juan, Puerto Rico) - La Corporación del Fondo de Interés Apremiante de Puerto Rico (la “Corporación” o “COFINA”) anunció hoy el lanzamiento de una página web para relaciones con inversionistas (www.cofina.pr.gov) que ayudará a la Corporación a reforzar la transparencia con sus inversionistas respecto a ciertos bonos restructurados de rentas del impuesto sobre ventas y uso Series 2019A y 2019B (Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales Tax Bonds, Series 2019A and Puerto Rico Sales Tax Financing Corporation Restructured Sales Tax Bonds, Series 2019B) (conjuntamente, los “Bonos de COFINA”) emitidos en relación con el Tercer Plan de Ajuste Enmendado al amparo del Título III de la Corporación del Fondo de Interés Apremiante de 9 de enero de 2019 (el “Plan de Ajuste”) y autorizados conforme a la Ley 91-2006, según enmendada (la “Ley de la Corporación del Fondo de Interés Apremiante”). La Corporación es una de las primeras entidades gubernamentales de Puerto Rico en restructurar su deuda existente y establecer una junta de directores y operaciones independientes. Además, con la publicación de sus estados financieros auditados para los años fiscales 2017-18 y 2018-19, se ha convertido en uno de los primeros emisores del Gobierno de Puerto Rico en ponerse al día con sus estados financieros auditados. “Bajo la dirección de su junta independiente, la Corporación está lanzando un nuevo portal cibernético para inversionistas como parte de los esfuerzos en curso para mejorar las relaciones con los inversionistas, así como proveer un nivel adicional de transparencia y divulgación a los bonistas y los potenciales inversionistas de COFINA”, expresó Mohammad Yassin, Director Ejecutivo de COFINA. “La nueva plataforma, www.cofina.pr.gov, es un sitio web al estilo corporativo para relaciones con inversionistas que presenta información y documentación sustancial sobre los detalles esenciales de los Bonos de COFINA, así como el robusto perfil del crédito de la Corporación”, añadió Daniel Heimowitz, miembro de la Junta de COFINA.
