About us

CoeLux® Srl is a hightech Company established in 2009, headquartered in ComoNExT Technology Park nearby the renowned Como Lake.

Our mission is to foster an innovative solution for lighting, architecture and real-estate industries aiming at creating the perception of an extraordinarily wide space, by means of a genuine physical reproduction of optical atmospheric phenomena indoors.

Our unique CoeLux® lighting systems reproduce the true effect of natural sunlight entering through the opening in the integrated ceiling, with a realistic sun perceived at infinite distance surrounded by a clear deep blue sky.

The result is achieved thanks to the comprehensive work carried on by an interdisciplinary team of researchers in the field of optical physics, numerical modelling, chemistry, material science, architecture and design.

“Naos” is the name of the inner and most

sacred part of the Greek temples, where

the divinity statue usually was.

Tivano - from the French Petit vent – is the breeze that skims the Lake Como shores in the early hours of the day.

Ibla is the name of one of the areas of the historical city centre of Ragusa, in South-West

Sicily, which is now famous around the

world for the treasures of its architecture.

Imagine the warm light of the sun glimpsing into the room, lighting it up, illuminating objects and casting their shadows, blue-tinged by the diffused light of the sky. This is CoeLux® ST: a fairly compact module, suitable for many different settings, creating an artificial window facing a luminous sky, traversed by the rays of a bright sun.

CoeLux® ST NAOS offers an artificial window made up of various glimpses of sky, each of which set in its own white cell of light. Just like the columns of the temple, the rays of the sun hit the surface making it occasionally bright.

Clearing up the air and giving the lake the iconic beauty that makes it one of the most fascinating and magical places in the world. CoeLux® ST TIVANO offers a reflected view of the light of the sun whose image appears fragmented.

CoeLux® ST IBLA offers an artificial window featuring a clear opening to the sky without any element in the way, despite being positioned at the bottom of a deep well of light.

NAOS – a softer uniform ambient spread of natural light. Glimpses of the blue sky gives the experience of sky above. White reflectors diffuse the beam from the sun creating soft shadows giving increased depth perception. The window of each module is 530x300 mm with each module designed to fit within a standard 600x 600mmceiling grid. This allows easy installation within a T-bar or plasterboard ceiling. It is DALI compatible allowing easy integration into a control system.Warranty period: 2 years.

The movement of the sun in the reflectors enhance your feeling of being outside on a sunny day.Forced perspective plays it part tricking your body to believe in space and warmth of natural light. IBLA – lightwells, created to give a clear opening to the sky. The sun rays bounce within the well to create soft beams and more uniform light.
