• A pop-up is appears in front of a website• The pop-up occurs when a user attempts to leave the

page. It is like a banner advert however it is more intrusive

• When a Pop-up appears it makes the user interact with it before they can proceed

• The most intrusive pop-ups also include more adverts after being closed which essentially makes the user interact with the advert as they want them to.

• A pop-up will always include the name of the company and the product if it is needed

• It will also include a offer that the company is offering if there is one
