ISO 159001:20 NSAI certification

ISO 159001:20 is the world’s foremost quality management standard, used by

hundreds of thousands of organizations in over 170 countries around the globe.

It is part of a series of quality management system standards, sometimes referred

to as ISO 9000.

These comprise:

ISO 9000 – Fundamentals and Vocabulary, which introduces the basic principles

underlying management systems and explains the terminology.

ISO 9001 – Requirements, which specifies the criteria for certification.

ISO 9004 – Guidelines for performance improvements goes beyond ISO 9001 by

identifying how ISO 9001 can be used as a springboard for improving the

efficiency and effectiveness of a quality management system.

This suite of standards is designed to help organizations analyse and improve each

element in their operations, from the selection of suppliers through to sales and

distribution.

Among the many benefits of ISO 9001, the Standard helps organizations to improve

customer satisfaction levels, internal efficiency and employee involvement.

It sets out the essential requirements for a practical and effective quality management

system (QMS) which is, in essence, a system for minimizing risk and maximizing

opportunity.

National Board Certified to ASME Section 8 Div 1

Division 1 provides requirements applicable to the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, and

certification of pressure vessels operating at either internal or external pressures exceeding 15

psig.

Division 1 contains mandatory and non-mandatory appendices detailing supplementary design

criteria, nondestructive examination and inspection acceptance standards.

Welders and weld procedures certified to ASME Section 9 and AWS D1.1 and D1.6

TUV certification AD2000 – Merkblatt HPO

AD-2000 / HP0 is the Certification of manufacturers of pressure vessels and pressure parts.

The PED Pressure Equipment Directive was adopted by the European Parliament and the

European Council in May 1997 and from 29 May 2002 has been obligatory throughout the

European Union with penalties for non-compliance.

AD 2000 stands for “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Druckbehalter”, which translates to Working Group

on Pressure Vessels. “Merkblatter” are “specification sheets”

The certification includes the following services:

check of the reliability of working procedures and personnel

appraisal of materials used

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) promotes the art, science & practice of

multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe.

The ASME Certification Mark, which is regarded as the hallmark of acceptance and

certification, is used to indicate that the stamped item(s) conform to the ASME Boiler and

Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC).

Utilization of the Certification Mark is a means of complying with the laws and regulations in

nearly all U.S. States and Canadian Provinces. In addition, it has been estimated that over 100

countries accept the ASME BPVC as a means of meeting their government safety regulations.

The National Board Of Boiler And Pressure Vessel Inspectors maintains three separate

accreditation programs and one authorization program for stamps and marks

R Stamp

The National Board offers the Certificate of Authorization and R symbol stamp for the repair

and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items.

NB Mark

The NB mark is used by manufacturers to identify items registered (see Registration) with the

National Board. It is also used by pressure relief device manufacturers and assemblers to

identify pressure relief devices that have been certified by the National Board in accordance

with NB-501,

ABS - American Bureau of Shipping

BEPeterson holds an ABS Certificate of Design Assessment. This assessment is a

representation by the Bureau as to the degree of compliance the design exhibits with applicable

sections of the rules. The Product Design Assessment (PDA) Certificate remains valid until

June 21, 2020.
