It more of a tense and nervous feeling when the characters speak all around because it seems like they are soldiers right before a dangerous mission. The background sounds like the marching sounds gives in a more tense pre-war feeling. This is done by voice recording in a studio since the mood is mostly shown through narratives. There is some field recording used too. Game genre Judging from the narratives and all the background noise this seems to be in the action genre. In the narratives you can clearly here the characters are soldiers going for war. The other character doing the induction or pre battle prep talk, that makes it sound like I is more like shoot game and fast paced action. They also have used software to get the voices and the other noises in the background right, like changing the volume levels of the separate sounds.
