Earnest Woodruff
1919 - A group of investors headed by Earnest
Woodruff & W.C. Bradley purchased The Coca-Cola
Company for 25 million dollars.
500,000 shares of its common stock were sold
publicly for $40 per share.
1923 – Robert Win sip Woodruff, Earnest Woodruff’s
son, was elected the president of the company.
His management established quality standards for
every phase of the bottling operation.
By the end of 1928, Coca-Cola sales in bottles had for
the first time exceeded fountain sales.

1928 – The Coca-Cola and the Olympic
games: The first lightening of the flame and
the first sale of Coke at an Olympiad.
1941 – The entry of United States into war brought an order from Robert Woodruff: “To see what every man in uniform gets a bottle of Coca-Cola for 5 cents, wherever he is and whatever its costs the company”.
More than 5 billion bottles were consumed by military service personnel during the war.

MUHTAR KENT
Muhtar Kent is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Coca-Cola
Company. Mr. Kent joined The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta in 1978 and has held a
variety of marketing and operations roles throughout his career. In 1985, he was
appointed General Manager of Coca-Cola Turkey and Central Asia. From 1989 to
1995, he served as President of the Company's East Central Europe Division and Senior
Vice President of Coca-Cola International. Mr. Kent was named President and Chief
Operating Officer of The Coca-Cola Company's North Asia, Eurasia and Middle East
Group from 2005 until early 2006, where he was responsible for the operations across a
broad and diverse geographic region that included China, Japan and Russia. Mr. Kent
served as President of Coca-Cola International through most of 2006, responsible for
operations outside of North America. Mr. Kent holds a bachelor of science degree in
economics from Hull University, England, and a master of science degree in
administrative sciences from London City University.

The Coca-cola formula was found by John Pemberton during 1885 in Columbus, Georgia, United States. Initially John Pemberton makes the Coca-cola formula to be used as the medicine formula. Pemberton claimed the formula Coca-cola could cure various disease, for example morphine addiction, the digestive problem, neurasthenia, headache and impotent. Pemberton used the formula of Coca-cola inspired from the coca wine that Angelo Marini finds.
The name of Coca-cola was taken from the Coca leaves and Cola nuts. According to the story, Pemberton the Coca-cola formula used the mixture of two material kinds. The discovery of the name was so simple. Now the brand of Coca-cola had was very big According to Inter brand in 2002 the value of the Coca-cola brand was number of one in the world (US$69.6 billion). The number of two was occupied by Microsoft (US$64.1 billion). Therefore, Coca-Cola has make the brand image in minds of people.
