Freeholder Carter stated that the NP\\,. Jersey Housin.g and Ivfortgage Financing Agency is offering a nc\V program called HomeSavcr. She said it is designed to help at-risk households achieve financial stability and avoid foreclosure. It is an especially valuable program because it kicks into action before mongage delinquency occurs, rhereby, prevenong a cascade of reimed probietns. She srared thar rhe County!s economy is improving, but some households arc still struggling with the aftermath of the LUU~ crash, and they could use a helpm.g hand. Freeholder Carter stated that HomeSaver provides up to $50,000 in financial assistance to eligible households at risk of foreclosure.
