Coaxial Directional Coupler with Power Monitoring and Metering
The JAMPRO RF SYSTEMS Series RCMD-X02-X Kit, com-prises of a Coaxial Dual Directional Coupler Line Section with two RMS Power Probes and a controlling Power Monitoring unit, with Metering display. Together the kit allows full RF monitoring of multiple digital and analogue signals, providing power measurement and VSWR calculation, with alarm triggering from user set values. The parameters can be viewed locally on the LCD display and remotely via Ethernet connection, through web interface with SNMP support, or via Serial connection through RS232 / USB.

RCID—Coaxial Directional Coupler The JAMPRO RF SYSTEMS Series RCID-X02 Dual Coaxial Directional Coupler Line Sections are used to couple and allow measurement of forward and/or reflected power levels in a co-axial transmission line. They provide a low level signal propor-tional to the uni-directional power in the line. Isolation of the power in the opposite direction is provided by the coupler's high directivity. The couplers utilize a small loop mounted inside an adjustable sleeve with two Type N connectors. A 1 Watt Type N external load is supplied on the isolated port. The load and coupled port can be swapped to change measurement direction without ad-justment. Built in angle and height scales allow precise setting of the couplers, without equipment, from measured coupling and directivity data.

Power Monitor The Power Monitor can control up to 8 external power probes. The high dynamic range with external couplers and RF measuring heads cover from 1W to 200kW.
The Power conversion algorithms handles multi carrier, multi mode, peak, average and RMS signals. The power readout is auto scaled and VSWR can be calculated between any probes. Also the measured and calculated results along with alarms can be shown in the local LCD. The instrument has SNMP support to allow network management. The instrument can be configured for VSWR and Power limits to give alarms. The alarms can be configured to operate relay drivers or iso-lated Optocouplers. The alarms can also be configured as SNMP traps sending relevant information to the network con-trol center or sending an e-mail. All values are logged and time stamped to a USB stick every minute. The Web enabled Power Monitor gives an unlimited number of application to monitor and control the last part of your RF network installa-tion from transmitters to the antenna.
RMS Power Probe Frequency compensated power probe capable of measuring power in a multiple carrier installation. For any physical waveform, the probe will measure the RMS power of the signal. 2 Models cover typical Broadcast band.
