Measured Perspective 1
![Page 2: Coatbridge High School Measured Perspective 1. Produce an elevation and an end elevation of the object. Next position the object in plan view at the correct.](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022080223/56649f395503460f94c55630/html5/thumbnails/2.jpg)
Produce an elevation and an end elevation of the object. Next position the object in plan view at the correct angle for the perspective projection. The picture plane in this example is drawn behind the object
![Page 3: Coatbridge High School Measured Perspective 1. Produce an elevation and an end elevation of the object. Next position the object in plan view at the correct.](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022080223/56649f395503460f94c55630/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
Now from the spectator point produce two construction lines parallel to the viewed surfaces.Project these to the picture plane and then vertically upward to meet the eye level line. Where these lines intersect is the position of VPL and VPR. Now repeat the process projecting lines from the viewed surfaces to the picture plane and vertically upward to the ground line providing two height lines

Mark on the left hand height line, the two heights. Then produce perspective lines from the left hand vanishing point through the height points, Now view the relevant points on the left hand facing surface by producing lines from the spectator point, through the corners on the plan to the picture plane then vertically upward to the relevant perspective line

From the corners of the surface created in the last frame, project perspective lines to the right hand vanishing point as shown. Also view the right hand surface, project to the picture plane and then vertically to the space above.
