Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and the third largest in the United Kingdom. Before 1750 Glasgow was a small town. After 1776 the industry of this town began to develop. Glasgow became big and rich.

Near the River Molindar in 543 the Christian missionary Saint Mungo founded a monastery. The Cathedral of St. Mungo was built later at the end of the 12 century.

Such lamps you can see everywhere in Glasgow. They were created by St. Mungo. There is a bird, a palm-tree, a fish and a bell in these lamps.

This beautiful building is St. Mungo Museum. The first Museum in the world which studies religious art and religious life. It was opened in 1993.There are a lot of works on art of six main religious of the world.

This is the most historical building in Glasgow. It was built in 1411.
