Why coach not tell?

• It is their life!• Their results!• The most important skill you can help them

develop is their ability to face and manage things themselves and take ownership

• Time to grow up and take responsibility – you are the bridge to a successful adult life

Effective Partnership with your Child

• Build on their strengths• Reward and encourage hard work and EFFORT!• Don’t allow any obstacle to stand in their way• Don’t accept excuses: my teacher didn’t say,

doesn’t help, the class is noisy, no-one has told me…
