Coaching Philosophy Outline My philosophy in regard to the sprints and hurdles, would best be described as “Developing Sprint Technique”. I believe that performance can be improved thru paying attention to details. talent must be developed. Talent is and can be developed in many ways; the method I have adapted is outlined below. 1. Physical development a. strength training b. proper mechanics 2. Psychological a. develop good attitude of winning and losing b. view adversity as an opportunity for 1. learning 2. growth and development 3. character development 3. Social Development a. teach honesty b. respect for others c. well-mannered in winning or losing d. accountable for actions 4. fun My reason for wanting to coach is that I joy sports and athletics. I joy passing on the great experience and knowledge that I gained from athletic competition. My objective is to create and environment whereby the athletes are able to develop their max potential, individual talent, and skills to foster the best opportunity for success, growth and development in these areas.
