To optimize this feature, put a shortcut on the desktop, preferably in a desktop folder (e.g. Cougar Utilities)

Do a Cougar Backup, other backup or simply make a copy of the INMAS & INMAT files (Running INUPDT.exe and Re-indexing the Inventory, Order Entry, Point of Sale & Purchase Order files is optional but recommended)

Double click the shortcut to cms2IN_Recalc-swo.exe

Select the company Code

Click on OK

cms2IN_Recalc-swo will fix any errors from OE, PS &

P.O. in On Order, Back Order & Committed thus

fixing the Available for sale calculation


This product should require no troubleshooting. Its beautiful in its simplicity.

Re-indexing is almost always a first step

Running InUPDT.exe will make sure that there matching records in the InMAT file for every record in InMAS (In extreme cases, you may want to ZAP the INMAT file and rebuild it totally

If a record locking error occurs, use UTICMS to delete any blank records

If problems still exist, use dbFix & FileFix to rebuild the file
