Situation: DPDS (Directeur – Politique et développement (Solde)) en collaboration avec DTBC (Directeur – Traitement des soldes et des comptes) travaille actuellement sur le rétablissement de la rémunération de spécialiste pour les soldats du CTRC (Corps transmissions royal du Canada) dont le salaire a été gelé depuis 2011. Bien que CEMD ait annulé l'ordre et que nous devions finalement avoir une résolution pour notre problème de rémunération des spécialistes pour nos soldats, la phase de mise en œuvre de la réinsertion ne va pas si bien, il y a des questions allant de surpayer à récupérer (dans certains cas 20000 $ de trop-payé!).
Action: Nous avons envoyé une demande de révision à DPSC afin de nous assurer qu'ils sont au courant de la situation et de prendre les mesures appropriées pour la corriger.
Conseillez à nos soldats (TSC/ TSI ) qui auraient pu recevoir une compensation de ne pas acheter ce Ford Raptor convoité. NE PAS DÉPENSER L'ARGENT jusqu'à ce que le projet ait reconnu le problème et ait pris les mesures correctives adéquates. À la fin, aucun de nos soldats ne devrait avoir à rembourser de l’Argent, alors assurez-vous que ceux qui sont dans la ligne de mire ne deviennent pas un fardeau administratif en dépensant de l'argent qu'ils ne devraient pas avoir. S’il vous plait distribution au plus grand nombre.

I regret to announce MS (Ret'd) Jeff Morris’ passing . Jeff was a 291’er who spent many years at Leitrim.
He suddenly passed on Saturday January 14, 2017 at the age of 58 years. A beloved husband of Colleen Morris and loving father of Patrick (Amy), Adam (Naomi) and Matthew. Devoted grandfather of Aubree, Evalyn and Maeleigh. Dear son of Eric and the late Arlene Morris. A strong, quiet and funny man who has left an enormous void in the lives of everyone who ever had the honour and privilege to know him.
C’est avec regret que nous annonçons le décès du Matc (retraité) Jeff Morris. Jeff était du métier 291. Il a passé beaucoup d'années à Leitrim.
Il est décédé le samedi 14 janvier 2017 à l'âge de 58 ans. Un mari bien-aimé de Colleen Morris et père aimant de Patrick (Amy), Adam (Naomi) et Matthew. Dévoué grand-père d'Aubree, d'Evalyn et de Maeleigh. Cher fils d'Eric et feu Arlene Morris. Un homme fort, calme et drôle qui a laissé un vide énorme dans la vie de tous ceux qui ont eu l'honneur et le privilège de le connaître.

It is with great sorrow I must inform you of some very sad news. Maj Dragisa Ivkovic of 17 Operations Support Squadron passed away 13 December 2016. “Drag” was an excellent officer and a proud member of the 17 Wing family. He will be missed by all. More information will come in the next few days concerning details for the memorial service. In situations like these, the family’s privacy and wishes are of the utmost importance. If Maj Ivkovic’s family wishes a small, private service, we will respect that absolutely and find a suitable way to remember “Drag” with our own 17 Wing family. His personality and character are a testament to what we should strive to achieve as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and as a person. We will remember him. C’est avec une profonde tristesse que je dois vous informer du soudain décès du major Dragisa Ivkovic du 17e Escadron de soutien des opérations survenu le 13 décembre. « Drag » était un excellent officier et fier membre de la famille de la 17e Escadre de Winnipeg. Il sera regretté par tous. Au cours des prochains jours, vous recevrez plus amples informations concernant les détails du service commémoratif. Dans de telles circonstances, il est d’une importance capitale de respecter la vie privée et les souhaits de la famille. Si la famille du Maj Ivkovic décide de tenir un petit service privé, nous respecterons leurs désirs et la grande famille de la 17e Escadre trouvera une façon de se souvenir de « Drag». Sa personnalité attestait grandement ce dont nous devrions nous efforcer d’atteindre en tant qu’individu et membre des Forces armées canadiennes. Nous nous souviendrons de lui.
