LEARNING MATERIALS PROGRAM (credit classes only)

HOW LMP WORKS:4 The CMC Learning Materials Program (LMP) is a textbook program designed to deliver

textbooks to students at the start of the semester. Books must be returned unless the student chooses to purchase their books.

4 Each class will state whether it is a part of the LMP and those classes that require textbooks will have a book symbol & in the course title. NOT all classes that are part of the LMP require textbooks.

4 Students will see a $28 per credit hour charge on their registration statement for any credit classes included in the LMP. Auditing students will not be charged for textbooks and will have to order the book(s) independently.

HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR BOOKS:4 Students must verify their address each semester on the CMC LMP dashboard at

Basecamp > MY CMC Apps > Learning Materials Program > Verify Address > Submit. Textbooks will NOT be delivered until students verify their address each semester.

4 Textbooks are shipped via UPS. They cannot deliver to PO Boxes, please verify with a physical address.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR BOOKS:4 Students must return the text books the last date of the semester or within 7 days after

dropping a class. Students who fail to return books by this deadline will be charged 50% buyout per item, and unpaid charges will result in a financial hold on the students account.

4 To return:

OPTION 1: Drop your textbook(s) off to the Spring Valley or Carbondale campuses any-time. The Aspen campus will accept returns only during finals week.

OPTION 2: Print a free UPS shipping label from the CMC LMP Dashboard under “Manage my returns,” and ship them using UPS at any of their drop-off locations.

PREGISTER FOR CLASSES. Your books are on the way. For more information: COLORADOMTN.EDU/TEXTBOOKS
