Athletes officially selected by the WFF - National Federation Members of each country

according to the following requirements:

1. Each country shall be represented by one officialteam.

2. Co-organizingcountrieshavetherightforadoublequotaofparticipants

3. Each athlete must be a citizen of the representedcountry.

4. Each athlete must know, truly understand and be able to compete under the WFF

– CompetitionRules.

5. Every participant must be free of any physical or mental handicap - therefore

cannot cause any kind of difficulties during competition, under the WFFRules.

6. AllcompetitorsmusthaveMedicalReleasesignedbyofficialnationaldoctor.

All National Federation participants must be WFF Member for 2017.

Participation on the World Championships and Cup is conditioned by the payment of

all membership fees to WFF (affiliation – for the new members, annual membership

fee for 2017).

All athletes who want to enter the World Championships competitions MUST have a

Fudokan BUDOPASS with the Annual Visa – 2017.

All athletes for Ko-Go Kumite and Shobu-Ippon-Kumite must have gloves and mouth

guard and groin protection for male and chest protection for female.

* Only registered Black belt holders are allowed to enter the competition!

1. AN ATHLETE CAN PARTICIPATE IN INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES ONLY IN HIS AGE

CATEGORY. IF HE PARTICIPATES IN TEAM CATEGORY FOR AN OLDER AGE GROUP, HE

CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE SAME TEAM CATEGORY IN HIS AGEGROUP

Example: one junior athlete can participate in individual categories for juniors. He can participate in

team kata for youth. In this case he cannot be part of team kata juniors

2. The KUMITE event of FUKU-GO has the SAME RULES for each category as in INDIVIDUAL

KUMITE or Ko-go Kumite according with the category asbelow.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2017WFF World

Championships, we would like to welcome you to the beautiful and hospitable

city of Cluj- Napoca. It is a great honor for us to host World Fudokan

Championships in Romania. Cluj- Napoca is a cultural, financial and tourist

center of Romania, and rightly recognized as a western capital of our country. It

is worth to mention, that the city has experience in hosting major international

sporting events, including European Basketball and Gymnastic Championships,

and several Fed Cup and Davis Cupcompetitions. The event is surely the

most important sports eventinthe world of Fudokan in 2017. Therefore, the

Organizing Committee will do its best to make the WFF World Championships a

full success, and to provide pleasant stay for its participants and guests. We

Cluj is located in the northwestern region of Transylvania. Cluj-Napoca (German: Klausenburg; Hungarian: Kolozsvár), commonly known as Cluj, is the second most populous city in Romania, behind the national capital Bucharest, and is the seat of Cluj County in the northwestern part of the country. Geographically, it is roughly equidistant from Bucharest (438 km), Budapest (351 km) and Belgrade (322 km). Located in the Someşul Mic River valley, the city is considered the unofficial capital to the historical province of Transylvania.
