Clubs and Activities Booklet - priorsfieldpull...
Transcript of Clubs and Activities Booklet - priorsfieldpull...
Introduction
Welcome to the programme of Clubs & Activities for the school. We pride ourselves
on the exciting range of clubs and activities that we offer at Prior’s Field. This booklet
provides details of the Clubs & Activities from which you should choose up to three
for each term. All students must sign up on FROG, except for Funky Food who can
sign up with the Food Technology department. We hope you enjoy making your
selection.
In making your choices remember that the following extra curricular activities take
priority: Choirs & Orchestra, School Productions, Sports Teams, extra Art Classes and
Riding. Make a note of all your prior commitments before making your choice of
Clubs or Activities. Full details of the extra curricular schedule are included at the
back of the booklet.
In making your choices, do look at the times at which the clubs are offered and
ensure that you are available. Please also note that there are some clubs which will
incur a small fee, either because they are run by external providers or to cover the
cost of materials.
It is important that all girls recognise that they are expected to make a commitment
for the whole term. Absenteeism affects the whole group and, where teachers
have planned and prepared for specific activities, can be very disruptive. If it is unavoidable you should let your Form Tutor know in advance and, preferably, the
teacher running the particular Club or Activity too.
We hope you have a really enjoyable term ahead participating fully in the Clubs and
Activities available for you. If you have any questions about Clubs & Activities please
ask your Form Tutor or Mrs Waugh in reception or by email [email protected]
Finally, if you have any suggestions for new Clubs or Activities, or people who might
like to help us run them, please let us know - tell your tutor, year leader, Mrs Waugh
or myself.
