Club & Committee News On May 17th, the Moebius Nature Center in Au-

rora hosted a 4-H information day to educate the

public about what 4-H has to offer. Several clubs

engaged guests with the projects they are tak-

ing to fair. Of these groups, Creatures-n-

Features members including Emma Levick,

Christian Ward, Abby Ward, Michaela Stanziale,

Lauren Grove, and Megan MacIntyre presented

felting, health and safety, self-determined pro-

jects, poultry, and soap making. Paws-N-Claws

member Steven Mann with Portage Projects

members Bridgett Neal and Ben Neal demon-

strated competitive rabbit hopping and offered

their rabbits and guinea pigs for petting. The

Shamrock Shakers members Cheyenne Cuprak,

Val Doumanian, Zach Flynn, and Tyler Flynn

taught about photography, rabbits, guinea pigs,

and made survivorship bracelets. As well, two

Master Gardener Interns, Cheri Goggin and Con-

nie Parker, showed the public square foot gar-

dening and bulb splitting. Guests were pleased

with the event and everyone had many items to

take home. We would like to thank all of the par-

ticipants for their time to help teach what 4-H is

really about, to make the best better."
