GOOGLE CROME & CLOUD You can access any document that resides on the

server from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection.

The Google applications work in a wide variety of browsers (not just Google Chrome). This means you can at least view your documents using your smartphone or any other web-enabled device.

The Google Docs applications not only enable you to view and edit documents online, they also enable multiple users to collaborate on a document, which means you can work with someone outside your network.

CLOUDIFICATION OF GMAIL Gmail after moving into cloud replaced for more

than 4 million businesses than traditional enterprise email solutions.

80 times more energy efficient (PDF) than running in-house email.

Reason : cloud-based services are typically housed in highly efficient data centers Operate at higher server utilization rates Use hardware and software that’s built

specifically for the services they provide—conditions that small businesses are rarely able to create on their own.

50 people can edit a document, spreadsheet, presentation, or drawing at the same time. Additional users will still be able to view the item, but they won't be able to edit it, and they won't be visible to others working on the item. There is also a certain limit on the number of people who can view a file at the same time.

A single Google document, file, or folder can be shared with 200 email addresses
