The Company was established in 2004 and has been responsible for providing outstanding Security Operators training ever since. The Team is made up of committed individuals who are highly trained in the field of Security.

BL’s objects include the following: CCTV Consultancy and Training, Security Guard Training, Security and Safety Awareness Training, Security Audit and Consultancy, Security, Safety and Communication Equipment, Accessories and Services procurement and Sale.

BL is based in Accra, Ghana but has been operating along the West African sub-region. We are currently advising some organisations in neighbouring countries on effective ways of providing security for pipelines and other installations using electronic systems.

BL is affiliated to a number of quality Security Companies both in Ghana and abroad.

SECURITY CONSULTANCY

BL prides itself in providing custom-built solutions and involving the Client in any way necessary. We are always proactive on our activities and will assist you build a cost-effective system.

BAMBACE LTD – ROLE AS CONSULTANTS

We co-ordinate the whole procurement process to include the following:

Introductory meetings and presentation to explore the scope of the project including options for design and specification.

Produce a full design and specification to the Client’s requirements.

Assist with the tendering and procurement process.

Provide complete build management service to co-ordinate the activities of the CCTV Supplier or Installer and any other interested parties.

Provide a full warranty schedule identifying the separate agencies’ responsibilities.

Commission the completed system.

Provide full training with regards to the professional operations of the system.



RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAILS

IMPLEMENTATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

1. Oversee the project management of any security system on behalf of the Client, ensuring that the installation is according to the full specification.

2. Ensure and advice that the general design of the system is adequate / appropriate to meet the needs of the Client.

3. Monitor progress of activities in line with the schedule of works and deal with initial queries with installers on behalf of the Client.

4. Brief authorities on all aspects of the system at strategic stages.

5. Advice the Client on any future upgrades.

MAINTENANCE

6. Ensure that the Client is provided with the appropriate backup facility for the continued operation of the system.

7. Ensure that the installer enters into the most appropriate maintenance agreement with the Client for the system’s support.

8. Ensure that appropriate maintenance of system is carried out as specified by the manufacturer.

9. Supervise the maintenance schedule with the installer on behalf of the Client.

10. Advice the Client on any appropriate variations and any future updates.

TRAINING

11. Ensure that the Client is guaranteed the appropriate training prior to acceptance of any installation of new equipment.

12. Ensure that Clients’ operators are provided with the appropriate training to handle the equipment efficiently.

13. Ensure and supervise an ongoing training regime so that the equipment is handled efficiently at all times.

14. Advice the Client on any other training matters of interest.

EQUIPMENT

15. Ensure the Client acquires the appropriate equipment that they wish to implement in their organisation.

16. Undertake the evaluation of equipment the Client may be offered and assist in the arrival at well informed decisions of choice.

17. Advise the Client on availability of alternatives and upgrades.



SECURITY ADMINISTRATION

18. Assist the Client’s Administration or Management to formulate documents to address health and safety matters – codes of practice regarding security issues.

19. Design outlines and plans to deal with safety issues to cover personnel and property.

20. Assist with designing and implementing drills to counter matters of security threats and concerns.

21. Where there is a Security Control or Monitoring Room, to undertake to ensure that it is run to international standards.

PIPELINE SECURITY & ADMINISTRATION

In recent times, BL has been advising on cost-effective designs for electronic pipeline protection. This has an inherent ability to provide very early warning of any disruption and hence provide an opportunity for the operator to take preventive actions. With the CCTV Electronic Surveillance System the entire length of the pipeline is monitored in real-time 24 hours per day 7 days per week year after year, with complete safety.

CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION TRAINING BAMBACE LTD provides training in the professional way to operate and maintain CCTV and Access Control systems. The training covers the operations of the Control and Monitoring Rooms and is designed for System Operators and Monitoring Room Supervisors and Managers. For organisations, ‘in-company’ courses may be run for numbers up to 20 personnel at a time. ‘In-house’ training sessions have the added advantage of the training modules being customised to suit the systems in place. Trainees who successfully complete any Tavcom course receive a Tavcom Training Certificate which is internationally recognised and endorsed by International Security Education Council (ISEC).
