Page 1 of 25 Clinician Performance Information on Medicare Care Compare 2020 Doctors and Clinicians Public Reporting Overview This document summarizes the clinician performance information, plain language measure and activity titles 1 , and utilization data that are available for preview and will be publicly reported on Medicare Care Compare and in the Provider Data Catalog (PDC) in 2022. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will publicly report 2020 Quality Payment Program (QPP) clinician performance information. Performance information that meets statistical public reporting standards (valid, reliable, comparable, and meets the minimum reliability threshold) will be included in the PDC. 2,3 A subset of this information will be added to Care Compare profile pages. Any information publicly reported on profile pages must also resonate with patients and caregivers, as shown through user testing.
