David Bruck is a Clinical Professor of Law at Washington & Lee School of Law, and Director of the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse,a law school clinic and resource center for lawyers defending capitally-chargedclients throughout Virginia. He has also served, since 1992, as Federal Death Penalty Resource Counsel to the federal defender system. (The Federal Death Penalty Resource Counsel Project is a national clearinghouse for information and support for court- appointed defense counsel in federal capital cases; its responsibilities include the collection, analysis and dissemination of data concerning federal death penalty prosecutions throughout the United States, recruitment and recommendationof defense counsel in federal capital cases, and assistance to the federal courts in matters relating to the defense function in such cases.) David Bruck is a Clinical Professorof Law at Washington & Lee Schoolof
