Transcript of Climate Change

Climate Change or Global Warming in simple terms, can be described as an increase of unbalance temperature (characterized by rapid and drastic changes) of the Earth's temperatures transforming habitat that might lead to catastrophic (natural) events and eventually to the extinction of species. For years now, countless debates focus on whether or not these changes are brought about by man's activities increasing the green house gases. Science presents physical evidence of Global Warming supported by different data from the research conducted in different places rapidly affected by this phenomenon. It is taking a very long time for industries and people to be interested or convinced enough to modified behaviors in the hopes to reverse the damage already done arguing different reasons. In a obvious industrialized and capitalistic world important decisions are made according to business' perspectives and movements. Economics calculated 'that the annually income of all world economic combined is about 18 trillion dollars.' Another calculation done, reveals that if we consider the natural system and all it does to sustain the planet its annual income could be about '35 trillion dollar.' Put into other words, if humanity sends nature a paycheck for its work, during 4.53 million years, nature's network could be 240.62, simple math. (35+18 (The world's industries depended on old solar energy which was originally trapped by nature) x 4.54 million (which is how old the Earth might be). Many global technologies today works around solar energy offering various ways to convert solar energy to sustain communities and alternative fuel for personal and mass transportation. This alleviates many of the negative impact done to the environment by the old model based on fossil fuel. If we consider that nature started working from day one, has a system that renews itself, recycles, leaves little (to none damaging) waste, takes no breaks, and works for free, why not convert and base the global economic into more natural process? When Nature supports both an artificial energy system (old solar energy in various form, including coal) and organic energy effectively and still tops all other industries. Pen name: Anny K.
