PurposeA coalition to...
• Create a cross-sectoral platform for information exchange, networking, advocacy and debate
• Promote effective and far reaching energy efficiency and energy savings policy and action
• Engage in senior level advocacy
• Link with other, similar organisations to exchange information and the strengthen energy efficiency and energy savings at an international level

Memberships and funding
Membership• Open alliance of European organisations (e.g. Trade or business
alliances, professional organisations and NGOs) and their members
• Honorary membership of relevant individuals from the EU institutions
Funding• 12 month funding based on the level of minimum secretariat
support• Business representative organisations (including members) are
encourage to finance the coalition• Core activities to be financed separately

Future activities (currently in the pipeline)• EU energy savings policies: Roundtable (and possible additional advocacy
outreach) on EU energy efficiency and savings policies (in liaison with EC EEAP and EP own initiative report on EEAP)
• Supply side: Roundtable (and possible additional advocacy outreach) on energy efficiency from a demand and supply side (in liaison with fourth infrastructure package)
• Diffusion of energy efficiency: Roundtable (and possible additional advocacy outreach) on the implementation and diffusion of energy efficiency (in liaison with EC EEAP and Open Days 2010)
• Financial support: Roundtable (and possible additional advocacy outreach) on financial schemes and mechanisms (in liaison with EU budget discussion, follow up EEAP etc)
• Jobs and growth: Roundtable (and possible additional advocacy outreach) on potential of job creation and growth (in liaison with EU jobs agenda)
+ activities targeting Belgian presidency etc
